Old-Time Cinch STDscd DNA-VP
ASCA and AKC Australian Shepherd
DOB: August 19th 2014
Black Bi Female
45 lbs & 19"
Cinch has an old working pedigree, a mix between (Hall Of Fame Kennel) Twin Oaks and (Hall Of Fame Kennel) Las Racosa!
Cinch at just 9 months old received her title STDs (Started Trial Dog- Sheep). She has allot of eye working stock and seems to really love to work...
Cinch is a very loving, smart and loyal Aussie. In her first year she went on all my runs with me while I trained for a Marathon race! After her first week of training as a young puppy, she never again has required a leash, she stays by my side while we run and she LOVES going out and being with me.
Cinch went to her 2nd ASCA stock dog trial April 8th & 9th 2017 (2.5 years old), she had not seen sheep since her last trial at 9 month old-until 2 weeks before this trial. She was introduced to ducks and some cattle also in that 2 weeks. She went and did amazing at her 2nd trial, earning her STDc (started cattle title) and half way to earning her started duck title.
She placed 1st and 2nd in her cattle classes and placed 2nd in one of her duck classes.
Not only does she amaze me at how obedient she is and her natural instinct to work stock, but she is also an amazingly sweet and loving dog toward my daughter who is just 1.5. I trust Cinch alone with my daughter and I think that speaks volumes to how good of a temperament she has....
At Cinch's 3rd ASCA stock dog trial July 2nd 2017, she continued to impress us. Having just had my 2nd baby 2 weeks prior we haven't had allot of spare time to practice at home since that last trail in April. But even so she went out and exceeded my expectations. She placed 2nd in her duck class, earning a QS earning her started duck title. She also placed 2nd in her Open Sheep class, making her half way to earning her open sheep title. We didn't do so well in our cattle class but it wasn't for lack of effort on her part. I had tow people tell me how talented she was which made me very proud.
I plan to continue to train with her this summer at home, and go all out this fall at her next trial.
